We recently moved to a lakeside cabin and discovered-

- How sunshine transforms stress into diamonds dancing on the water;
- How the gentle breeze whisks worry away like a floating feather;
- Oh, and fresh fish makes a great main dish!

Having spent years hanging on to a well-kept secret of rape, drugs, attempted suicide and parenting two sons who chose difficult paths, I relate to the hurts and hopeless feelings you are facing.
I often asked God “How can You use me?”
Today, God uses me because of my past, not in spite of it.

I've always believed in my wife. I love supporting her vision and being by her side. If she feels the Lord's leading, she goes for it...even when it came to marrying me! I'm glad she did!
Lori does lots of stuff besides taking care of me! She speaks for Stonecroft, leads workshops and retreats. I see her on TV and hear her on the radio. The 700 Club crew moved into our living room to film our son's story and the power of a praying mom.
Lori has been my sweetheart for over 40 years.
I love her to the lake and back!

What I Believe
Romans 10:9-15 New International Version (NIV)
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[a] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”[b]
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
